Aug 16, 2013 at 3:08 PM
Hi,

I am passing XML file from chutzpah junit option to reportgenerator to generator report.

below outputs:
C:\Tools\ReportGenerator_1.9.0.0\bin>ReportGenerator.exe "-reports:C:\OutputDirectory\Junit.xml" "-targetdir:C:\OutputDirectory" -reporttypes:Html
Loading report 'C:\OutputDirectory\Junit.xml'
Analyzing 0 classes
Creating summary
Report generation took 0 seconds

its not given proper output as expected.

Please let me know how i can proceed with reportgenerator.

Hi,

you can't process Junit reports with ReportGenerator. ReportGenerator is not intended to create reports from unit test reports but to generate reports from coverage files generated by OpenCover.
Since you are using JUnit you could use Cobertura or Emma: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1518362/code-coverage-tools-in-java

You could use https://chutzpah.codeplex.com. This tool executes JavaScript tests and collects coverage information.
See http://matthewmanela.com/blog/chutzpah-2-4-code-coverage-is-a-go for details, the tool already generates a HTML coverage report.
